THE CONTEXT: In order to ensure smooth, bug-free upgrades to our 20M+ users across multiple operating systems, we're rolling out the automatic update from Thunderbird 91 to 102 gradually.
Your data, settings, and profile will be preserved. This will serve as an upgrade from 91 to 102. (So, if you accepted the default location when you initially installed Thunderbird, you can also accept the default options for the Thunderbird 102 installer). THE SOLUTION: Download Thunderbird 102 manually from (look for the "Free Download" button) and install it on top of the same location where Thunderbird 91 is installed.
THE PROBLEM: You want Thunderbird 102 NOW, but your client is not auto-updating!
